Bimmer Tech, LLC Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty is provided by Bimmer Tech, LLC (“Bimmer Tech”). Bimmer Tech warrants that all maintenance and repair services performed (the “Services”) will be free from parts defects and in the workmanship during the warranty period, subject to the conditions noted herein.

THE LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH EXCLUSION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Coverage

This Limited Warranty extends solely to the original purchaser of the Services and is NOT transferable to subsequent vehicle owners.

Warranty Period

This Limited Warranty is valid for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of Services, whichever comes last (the “Warranty Period”). Remedial work performed under this Limited Warranty shall not restart the Warranty Period.

Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Oil changes, wipers, tires, and all fluids. Battery and brake replacements are limited to the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Failures or damages resulting from normal wear and tear.

  • Failures or damages due to misuse, negligence, accidents, or modification of parts or accessories by the customer or any third party.

  • Work not paid for, scheduled, or processed through Bimmer Tech.

  • Attempts by you or any third party to fix problems or modify the work performed by Bimmer Tech.

  • Diagnostic or inspection services.

  • Pre-existing conditions not disclosed prior to starting the Services.

  • Consequential effects of the Services performed, unrelated to defective parts or incorrect repair work.

Claims Procedure

  • A Bimmer Tech technician must inspect the vehicle to verify the issue(s) are eligible for warranty coverage. A service charge applies if the issue is not due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

  • Verify the initial visit mileage and current mileage, as well as the service date for the initial repair.

  • The vehicle must be located in one of our service areas at the time the warranty claim is submitted. Third-party inspection costs are not covered by Bimmer Tech.

  • Contact customer support for questions about coverage under this Limited Warranty.

Defects

If Bimmer Tech determines there is a defect in materials or workmanship, we may elect to perform remedial service work and/or replace defective parts at no cost to you. Refunds for defective materials may require the return of the defective part(s), which are the responsibility of the customer.

Limited Warranty Voided

The warranty is void if:

  • Parts are provided by the Customer and installed by the Technician.

  • Service requests deviate from manufacturer’s recommendations.

  • The vehicle is serviced outside of the Bimmer Tech platform without giving us an opportunity to inspect and remedy the issue first.

  • The vehicle is damaged due to abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, or modification.

BIMMER TECH RETAINS SOLE DISCRETION ON THE APPLICATION AND VALIDITY OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Labor charges are based on our standard prices, not actual mechanic’s time.

  • Charges will not exceed the approved estimate, plus applicable taxes and fees. For additional repairs, a revised estimate will be provided.

  • Bimmer Tech is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property in the vehicle.

  • Repair completion is subject to labor and parts availability.

  • Some repairs may be sublet.

  • Authorization for on-board data retrieval for repair purposes.

  • Parts return limitations and liabilities.
